As soon as you step through the doors of the Bistrot Priori Secret Garden, you’re greeted by a warm and sophisticated ambiance, where modern design harmoniously combines with material elements and details that evoke rural Umbria.

But it’s when you ascend to the rooftop garden that you discover the true gem of the place.

Here, beneath a starry blue sky and surrounded by lush plants, you can enjoy an aperitif that’s not just a simple prelude to dinner but a culinary experience in its own.

The aperitif served on the rooftop garden is an opportunity to explore the richness of Umbrian tradition.

The “Benvenuto in Umbria” dish is a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, expertly chosen to offer a range of authentic flavours. The meats, from prosciutto to capocollo, tell stories of master artisans and a love for well-crafted products. The cheeses, with their intense aroma and distinct notes, speak of green pastures and traditions passed down through generations.

The “Cartoccio di Fritti” is another dish that celebrates Umbrian roots but with a modern twist: crispy fries paired with fried salt cod and olives, following the tradition of lovely neighbouring city of Ascoli, with fresh, fried, golden artichokes, all nestled within a paper cone, perfect for sharing. This dish offers a sense of comfort and familiarity, yet with an elegant presentation that elevates the experience.

But the Bistrot Priori Secret Garden food experience does not stop there.

Our aperitif offering also includes mini club sandwiches and chips, classic street food elements, mixed with focaccia with mortadella scented with spices and pistachio.

This combination of new and old flavours creates a bridge between cultures and styles, making every bite a discovery.

Another highlight on the menu is the homemade pinsa.

Here, rediscovered craftsmanship takes shape in a light and crispy base, topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pinsa, with its Roman roots, finds a new home at the Bistrot Priori Secret Garden, where it’s prepared with love and passion, respecting traditional techniques, with a contemporary touch.

For those following a vegetarian diet, there’s lentil and rosemary soup, cabbage salads, and crispy cauliflower with cacio e pepe, alongside a delightful aubergine parmigiana on tomato fondue.

With over 22 dishes to choose from, you’ll surely find your favourite food, evoking memories of meals by the fireplace at home. The sour cherry flavours with vanilla homemade ice cream, will take you back to your childhood Sunday lunches.
